Our Wedding Day

We would love to be able to invite everyone to the ceremony but unfortunately, there is a maximum of 75 people allowed. This will be held at The Chapel, Colchester Castle. Those that have been invited to the whole day event will also be joining us at the Wedding Breakfast/Reception at The Barn Brasserie. 

For our evening only guests please attend the Evening Party at The Barn Brasserie at 7:30 pm.

Wedding Breakfast Menu

Starter choices:

Homemade tomato soup (VE)

or

Chicken liver parfait, red onion marmalade, homemade toasted white bread (GF available)

Sorbet:

Italian style lemon sorbet to cleanse the palette

Main course choices:

Chicken breast wrapped in bacon, dauphinoise potato and grain mustard cream jus (GF)

or

Roasted sweet potato, aubergine, courgette, tomato, mushroom and artichoke Mediterranean stack, tomato coulis, bail oil, dukkah (GF/VE)

Both options to be served with a selection of buttered vegetables

Dessert choices:

Lemon and lime cheesecake with raspberry coulis and fresh raspberries (V)

or

Vegan chocolate brownie & raspberry sorbet

Children’s Menu (under 16’s) :

Starter:

Garlic bread

Main course:

British beef burger with chips and salad

Dessert:

Double chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce and ice cream
